This course covers all aspects of basic financial awareness and money management. It is informal and interactive, using quizzes, discussions and real life case studies to create an affinity with lone parents, unemployed, council and private tenants and people in and out of jobs.
By the end of the course participants will be able to:
- build confidence in dealing with financial matters
- understand and use basic financial skills - especially budgeting
- take control of their spending and saving
- gain a greater understanding and awareness of entitlements
